Books search is not case sensitive, trout or TROUT will return the
same result. Please look over these tips and then go back to your page and
try your
search.
To
find all words of your search string: Just
type in the words -- this is
the default behavior of our search. Note that your search words
may or may not be together in the result -- entering bull trout will bring you mostly matches for fishing items, but might get you
a couple for elk.
To find exact
matches of your search string
-- Put the words in quotes like "trout and salmon" --
this will find the fewest matches but the most relevant. Do this for ISBN
searches
too, like "1-56044-287-X"
To find partial word matches --
Use the asterisk (*) as a wildcard when you want to match just part
of a word. If you want to find items
that
match
both "mayfly" and "mayflies" -- searching mayfl* will
do the trick.
